New Jersey state law requires home inspectors to report on material defects but beyond that critical part of our business, we attempt to acquaint our clients with the systems and components of the house with suggestions for maintenance, monitoring and upgrades. We are homeowners and parents as well as home inspectors. We give the same priority to issues of safety and health in your homes as we do in our own homes.

Stephen Dexter-
Principle Owner and President of All Through the House, LLC
Education: Attended courses of study during and immediately after service in the US Army at several Institutions completing his education at Rutgers University. Stephen has completed several Industry specific courses in Banking and currently in Home Inspection to gain and maintain his credentials.
Experience: Army Veteran (1972-1979) served as Military Policeman, Criminal Investigator, Paralegal, and Legal Office Manager. Self-employed as a Private Investigator, Collection Agent, and held various positions in Banking and Construction. Entered the Home Inspection Industry in 1996 as Regional Manager of a National Inspection Company before setting up All through the House in 2002 becoming one of the first group of Home Inspectors to be licensed in New Jersey.
Personal: Married with three children, residing in Oakhurst since the late 1980’s. A real believer of “It’s more than an inspection....it’s an education!” As comfortable with new construction as vintage/historic construction. First time home buyers hold a special place in Stephen’s heart!
John Pescatore-
John is a private contractor who is frequently and exclusively employed by All Through the House, LLC to perform inspections especially in areas of South and Western New Jersey effectively extending our service areas. John has been on board for seven years.
Education: BFA in Interior Design and a BA in Art History. John has also completed several Industry specific courses in Home Inspection to gain and maintain his certifications.
Experience: Before entering the Home Inspection Industry in 2002 John spent 20 years as a Custom Home Builder on Long Island. John holds a current NJ Home Inspector License # 24GI00073200 along with his NJ Radon MET 12036.
Personal: Resides in a circa 1800 farm house in New Egypt and is the single father of four sons. John enjoys educating and providing essential information to his clients both onsite and in written reports. He has an exceptional knowledge base of both new and vintage construction. First time home buyers always feel comfortable with his expertise and communication skills.
